School Based Provision

Childhood obesity is a growing public health challenge both in the UK and globally. In England, recent data shows that approximately 26.8% of children aged 2 to 15 are overweight or living with obesity, with around 9.6% of reception-aged children and over 22% of Year 6 pupils living with obesity. Worldwide, around one in ten children and adolescents are living with obesity, and one in five are classified as overweight, highlighting the scale of the issue.

Isolation and lack of connection are significant challenges for children today, with research showing that over one in ten children report feeling often lonely, and this is linked to poorer wellbeing, relationships and mental health.

Healthy eating is vital for children’s growth and long-term health, but nutrition education is declining while exposure to unhealthy food marketing influences children’s food preferences and can undermine healthy choices, meaning children need teaching and support to understand proper nutrition in a world saturated with persuasive advertising.

At 360 Vision, we aim to break down barriers to accessing all forms of health and wellbeing, including positive movement and engaging games that build confidence, character, respect and team spirit.

By ensuring our funding goes directly to where it is most needed, and by making additional activities as accessible as possible through our in school provisions, we work to reduce the barriers faced by families experiencing financial pressures or time-based constraints, so more children can benefit from positive, healthy opportunities

This then creates a cycle of continuous improvement and achievement for your child.

Whether through activities focused on building physical fitness or learning how to cook and prepare healthy and nutritious food, responsibility teaches accountability and the importance of making thoughtful decisions.

These are vital traits in both academic and career settings, helping your child build their self-esteem for the future.

6 into 7 Transition

The transition from primary to secondary school is widely recognised as a critical point in a child’s educational journey. Evidence aligned with Department for Education priorities shows that pupils can experience a decline in engagement, wellbeing and academic progress during this period, with attendance, emotional resilience and sense of belonging identified as key factors influencing longer-term outcomes.

360 Vision CIC’s Transition Weeks are designed as an early-intervention programme to mitigate these risks and strengthen protective factors before pupils enter secondary school. The programme is delivered within school settings and provides structured, inclusive activities focused on emotional wellbeing, confidence, peer relationships, communication, independence and readiness to learn. Delivery integrates physical activity, creative learning, wellbeing workshops and team-based challenges to support holistic development and active engagement.
