Martial Arts

Our founder’s background began in Martial Arts, and many of the skills she carries into 360 today integrity, perseverance, discipline and confidence were shaped in those early years. These values now form the core of 360 Combat.

Our Martial Arts sessions are built around a blend of Kempo Karate, Taekwondo forms, practical self-defence, fitness, and above all, fun.

Within wraparound, belt progression and gradings are included in the cost, and students test for tips and/or belts at the end of each term. This gives children structured goals, a sense of achievement and a moment to celebrate their hard work.

Did you know?

  • Research also shows that structured martial arts training can support children with ADHD (and other neurodiversity). The combination of repetition, movement patterns, clear routines and focus-based drills can help strengthen neural pathways linked to self-control, attention and emotional regulation.
  • Children practising martial arts showed better executive functioning and higher school marks than those involved in team sports or sedentary children.”

Our after-school enrichment sessions teach practical self-defence skills and pad work, helping children build strength, confidence and real-life awareness. During holiday camps, we offer the same skills as taster sessions, giving young people the chance to try an activity they may never have been exposed to before.

Delivered in a child-friendly, supportive and motivating style, our syllabus teaches children to focus, to defend themselves mentally and physically, and most importantly to have fun while building whole-health confidence.

Cookery

360’s foundation has always been to build an optimum foundation of whole health:- delivering education and sessions to improve knowledge and skills in fitness, nutrition and wellbeing for every child we work with. We know that early food experiences shape lifelong habits and with national data showing that 1 in 5 children leave primary school living with obesity, it has never been more important to make healthy eating accessible, enjoyable and confidence-building, rather than overwhelming or restrictive.

At all of our settings, our recipes are designed to be nutritionally optimal while still being fun, tasty and child-approved. We love teaching our attendees how to make these dishes so they can take the knowledge  and the yummy meals home to their families.

Our kitchen and serving staff are Level 2 qualified in Food Hygiene and follow our Nutrition led recipes (Millie, can you send me the new recipes for last term and this term as they need to go to Sarah?). During camps, children get hands-on opportunities to cook the main meals, snacks, and even special desserts or themed treats alongside our kitchen crew.

In wraparound, we promote everyday food engagement through our cleverly designed weekly menu. Children help shape parts of the meals — think pasta stations where they choose toppings for flavour and health, build-your-own crumbles, pita pizzas, and of course a firm favourite: fruit salad kebabs. These activities encourage choice, creativity and a natural curiosity about food.

We know nutrition is a vital component of whole-child health. By making our food sessions joyful, practical, and rooted in real skills, we help children become informed and empowered eaters giving them lifelong tools to support their wellbeing long after they leave our programmes.

Dance

Moving to music is one of the most impactful ways to lift your mood — with studies published in the BMJ and research from psychologists worldwide showing that music and movement together can significantly improve emotional wellbeing and reduce stress.¹ ²

At 360, we are lucky to have polished, passionate professional dancers who deliver the very best sessions for our students. From Matilda to Moana and everything in between, our teachers follow ISDT grading systems and know exactly how to plan, deliver and execute lessons that give children space to feel confident, learn new moves, and master amazing routines — all while feeling fantastic about themselves.

During wraparound, we teach from our modern dance syllabus, running classes from primary level right up to Grade Six. When we have a cohort of enthusiastic students ready to grade, we can invite an official ISDT invigilator to assess them formally.

In after-school enrichment, we run half-termly or termly blocks where children learn a fun, fully choreographed routine to child-safe popular music, giving them a strong sense of accomplishment at the end of each block.

During camps, we take a workshop-based approach, meaning that even children who cannot attend the entire summer still get the chance to learn a full routine if they book onto our dance days.

360 Dance always brings smiles, laughter and sparkle

¹ BMJ Open published research showing that music combined with movement improves mood, reduces anxiety and supports emotional wellbeing in children and adults.

² Numerous psychological studies have found that dance and rhythm-based movement increase endorphins, improve emotional regulation, and boost overall mental health (e.g., University of Sydney, 2021; American Psychological Association reviews).

Football

Nothing seems to bring our country and our kids (and grown-ups!) - together quite like a football tournament. Football’s coming home!

Our football sessions are a firm favourite across all our settings, with girls and boys joining in, learning new skills, and playing with confidence and pride.

With FA-trained coaches leading the way, children learn practical technical skills, develop tactical awareness, and take part in refereed 5-a-side, 7-a-side and full-team matches. We deliver sessions that make us just as proud as our national teams do!

Football isn’t just fun — it’s powerful. It enhances hand-eye coordination, foot-eye coordination, teamwork, agility, cardiovascular fitness and overall confidence. The beautiful game gives children a space to express themselves, build friendships, move their bodies, and experience the joy of being part of a team.

At 360, football remains one of our most-loved activities — inclusive, energetic, and always played with passion, respect and plenty of 360 spirit.

Arts and Craft

Arts & Crafts at 360 is all about imagination, confidence and connection.

There is something really special about giving children the space to create — to choose their colours, explore materials, and turn their ideas into something real. Our arts and crafts sessions are designed to help children feel proud of what they make, confident in their own style, and comfortable expressing who they are.

From painting, collage and sculpture to themed makes, seasonal projects and collaborative artwork, our activities gently build fine motor skills, patience and focus — while always keeping fun and freedom at the heart. There is no “right way” at 360 arts and crafts; every piece is celebrated, and every child’s creativity is valued.

Our sessions naturally bring children together too. Sitting, chatting, sharing resources and working on group projects creates calm, meaningful moments of connection — helping friendships grow and giving children a sense of belonging.

Whether during wraparound, enrichment clubs or holiday camps, 360 Arts & Crafts offers a relaxed, joyful space where creativity thrives, confidence grows, and children leave smiling with something they’re proud to take home
